Soil testing

* Soil samples from outside New Zealand can be done but you will need both a soil test order form, an import permit and the samples will need to be specially wrapped - see the previous page

* Includes a soil textural analysis and various other tests not normally conducted by most soil testing laboratories.

Please email Ian Hall and ask for an order form. Then fill in the details marked with an asterix * and either post or courier it along with your soil sample (s) to the address of our soil testing laboratory which is in bold at the top of the order form.

Soil test order forms are coded and can only be used once.

► Initial assessment of a site which includes comprehensive analysis of a soil sample supplied by the client and preparation of a report including a climatic assessment for potential edible mycorrhizal mushrooms.

► Typical follow-up analysis of a soil sample supplied by the client and preparation of a report such as 6 months after lime has been applied to a soil.

► Site visits are not included in the above prices and can sometimes be avoided if maps, photographs and other information is provided at the time a soil sample is submitted for assessment. The cost of a site visit will include travel, accommodation and time. Contact Ian Hall to organise a site visit.
